[SLUG] Internet Permissions

Hey Everyone,

I've got a funny problem: I switched from Earthlink's DSL which uses PPPoE, to
Verizon, which doesn't use anything but dhcp. The fun part is that I can only
access the internet as root, and not as a normal user. Anybody got a thought
on what might be causing this, or how I can fix it?
