First, no material is "censored" by a moderator. If I don't like your
post, I'll let you know _after_ it hits the list, and it will be a
personal email from me, not NKS. Matter of fact, my experience is that
if it gets that far, five people will slam you on list before I even get
a chance to say anything. "Offensive" in this context is detailed on the
Lists page of the SLUG website, or in the list charter sent out every
month to the list.
NKS has an automated filtering mechanism of some sort connected to the
lists. Primarily, it appears to filter virus or virus-like content. How
sensitive it is, and what all it filters, I do not know. I do know that
I get periodic bounces from it, which contain either viruses or content
which _could_ be viruses (Windows executable attachments). Most likely,
the post in question contained some content along these lines. I'm
fairly certain that it was not bounced because it contained bad words or
unpopular opinions.
So no, no one is "censoring" your email.
