You can D/L the key from the keyserver(s) and assign a level of trust
you're comfortable with. Don't sign the key until you verify it's
validity via other means (usually a keysigning where you check IDs).
Once you do sign a key, you can upload it to the keyservers to help
expand the web of trust.
