I know you have your reasons, but I'm going to butt in and advise against
a laptop if one of its primary purposes is going to be gaming. My
reasoning: laptops are by nature not (or only minimally) upgradable, and
games tend to push hardware technology to the bleeding edge.
Additionally, I've found that laptop LCD panels are less than ideal for
gaming - they seem to refresh more slowly, and details can be difficult to
see. Of course, this may have changed with the new LCD panels.
