Am I correct in understanding from their website that xig actually offers decent 3d support for
the ATI Radeon 9000 (mobility) line? I'm hoping to buy a laptop sometime in the future and I want
to be able to both run Linux and play games. Nvidia would be the way to go as I've been happy with
my Geforce2 for years, but NV seems to be on it's way out and there are a number of laptops coming
out with radeon 9ks. But then, ATI's Linux support seems to range from sparse to nil so it would
be awfully nice to be able to get good drivers even at $100 a pop. Has anybody used them (or
anything else) for Radeon9k support under Linux before? How well does it work? Heck, while I'm at
it, anybody want to recommend a good linux-compatible gaming laptop? =:)
