Is it an old iMac or a biege old world mac.. some of
the biege G3 actually used the macbois in software
stored on disk (ie new world macs)
If it is an old world mac, then try YellowDog if your
new to linux. Pretty nice setup and lots of help to
get you started.. you will need, if it has a hardware
bios stick, a mac os installed.... you can download
mac os 7.5.3 up 7.5.5 for free from apple and used
that to boot into linux. BTW, not completely sure
about this... check the YellowDog or Debian hardware
lists, but I don't think the addin card is going to be
usable... most of the lists I have seen say the
"co-processor" or upgrades are not usable.. but could
be wrong :)
