i have had no luck installing any OS with X on this motherboard.

whenever any OS switches to graphical mode the system locks up within
minutes.

the L440GX+ has an integrated Cirrus Logic GD5480 graphics controller with
only 2MB of VRAM.

i have a 2U rack system w/o the riser card so i can't really add a video
card without it.

any suggestions?
