About 11 days ago, I reinstalled my machine with Debian Woody after
installing my CD burner. I remember the installation script asked if
the machine was to be an NFS server. I answered yes and everything I
needed was installed (/etc/init.d/nfs-common,
/etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server, kernel modules etc.) I then upgraded the
kernel to 2.4.18-686 via apt-get; everything is working perfectly and my
machine is once again the file/print/mail/dhcp server for my home.
Could you have possibly answered, "no," to the NFS server question?
