Thanks for sharing this, Eric ... BTW, SuSE was really designed with KDE in
mind; Gnome seems more like it was put in as an afterthought since every
other major distro does it. Only reason I have SuSE is because it's the only
one that works on my HP Pavilion, otherwise I'd have stayed with Mandrake.

I'll give this a shot on my install when I have a chance.

I STRONGLY do not recommend that you try installing Ximian Desktop. It'll
REALLY screw up Gnome.
