I mostly have stayed with the GUI tools, (I do have
commandline experience though).
Have ran the KPPP, and tried getting it to find my
modem, etc. No luck though.

I was just sort of nervous trying this procedure with
the CMOS COM disable and all, sounds kind of risky,
but I will try it.
