Thank you Robin and Jason. Did you upgrade or do clean installs? The reason
I'm asking is that I have everything the way I want it in 8.2, except my ACPI
doesn't work well on the laptop. If upgrading fixed your laptop ACPI
problem, without trashing your existing downloaded apps and settings, that
would be good news for me! But I can take the bad news... -Eric
