I'm not much better on the help front. I slapped all of my "work in
progress" and other critical files onto a CD, then did a clean install
because I had enough files and programs floating around that I couldn't
remember a reason for having that I figured it was best to start fresh.
BTW, if anyone can think of a reason why my parallel port isn't
detecting or how to get it to detect, I'd love to hear it. This is the
only irritation I have with SuSE 9. I never tried to print to a local
printer through 8.2, so I can't say whether or not this is a new problem.
Anyone else ever have it or have suggestions for finding out what's
going on?
