Many consider Blade Runner to be one of the best SciFi movies ever.
It's end certainly didn't answer the biggie, namely was Decker one of
those andriod things?
Warning...mild spoilers below...if you consider dissing the movie
spoiling it. ;-)
That said, comparing Blade Runner to what I saw last night in the Matrix
Revolutions...well there really isn't any comparison. ;-) We learned
that the world of the Matrix is Buddhist/Taoist/Hindu/Christian with a
sprinkle of gnosticism just like the others, and that it simply isn't
anywhere near as cool as the world of Decker, or what you thought the
Matrix was after the first movie. Oh...and we learned that there may be
another 3 movies if those crazy brothers pull it off...or at least a lot
more short movies. Perhaps "Morpheous and the Matrix, Saturday mornings
at 10!".
To it's credit the Matrix Revolutions does have better Mech's than the world
of Blade Runner... ;-)
