YOU works fine now, but it's not like apt-get because it just has some quick
patches available, never new packages. You can configure YAST to point to
whole new installation locations and try out, say, the newest KDE, but Suse
doesn't support it and from the suse-kde list is a path fraught with
complexity and serious time-wastage. Plus, that type of hard integration
work is what you pay Suse to do, so why not then use Gentoo/Debian/Slackware,
etc.? I have found some good 3rd party Suse RPMs available for 9.0, but
there are a lot on the CDs/DvDs.
