There is such a service (or was) in Clearwater called Data Recovery
Services. We used them about 10 years ago, and they were on Kapp Drive.
Cost was about $500 just to look at the drive. I believe that
amount went towards any recovery costs. Overall cost depended on the
difficulty of the recovery. If they couldn't recover anything, they kept
the $500 anyway. Good guys, but I wouldn't recommend this pricey option
unless the data is truly truly truly important.
