im trying to get ahold of a linux learners box for a friend of mine so i can slowly wean him from the M$ teat but im having a hard time finding something inexpensive that he dosent have to worry about reformatting a few times until he learns.
does anybody who goes to the New Port Richey meetings have anything laying around that they can afford to get rid of for maybe 100 - 150$?
it dosent have to be strong or fast, a CD drive, a 750mhz CPU, 256meg of ram, a eathernet card and a 10gig drive will do fine.
Going for Fedora Core cause it was the first thing a ran across when he told me he wanted to learn Linux.
no monitor keyboard or mouse needed because im getting him a hardware KVM so he can switch between his computer and this new (old) one.
