RUNT is based on Slackware (9.1?), so I found the Slackware packages
gcc-3.2.2-i386-3.tgz and gcc-g++-3.2.2-i386-1.tgz. I installed those by
simply untarring them in the correct place. Is there a Slackware tool I'm
meant to use?

Also, those did not contain a program called "gcc". Am I meant to make a
link manually, or did I not install something?

"Untar a binary package to install" seems very error-prone to me, what
with no dependency-checking and all...
