My son lives in Orlando. He contacted us today and he's ok. He said
they expect to be without power for about a week. The eye of Charley
went through downtown.

I didn't realize Charley could stay that strong. Most hurricanes die
out quick over land.

I live in Largo (Evac level D) and decided to stay, but if I had known
that a Cat. 2 could jump to a Cat 4 in 20 minutes I'd have left town on
Thursday. Already been through Camille, Eloise, and Frederick and don't
want to do any of them again.
