OK, so you don't have an IMAP server installed. If you want to run the UW
IMAP server (it should be fine, it's what I run at home) just run the
command:
urpmi imap
This should install the UW IMAP server and all dependencies. At that
point, if you're really lucky, you should be able to point your IMAP
client to your server and start receiving mail. However, you may have to
configure your MTA properly, and you may want to add SSL to encrypt your
sessions.
