Folks,
Looks like I found the solution, if you are having this problem this is what you
need to do

edit the /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-(wireless interface)
add these commands to the bottom of the file

DHCLIENT_MODIFY_RESOLV_CONF='yes'
DHCLIENT_SET_DEFAULT_ROUTE='yes'

reboot and it should work

I found this with some googling once I had seen some of the other stuff on
the list.

Wonder why they did not put that in the ifcfg file? Wonder why it will start
working automagicly after some period of minutes or hours? Could there
be some other process that kicks it off?

It appears that I have fixed the problem but not sure I like the fact
that it will
fix it's self at times.
