I am running a Toshiba Laptop, it has the wifi built in, when SuSE boots up it
loads the Orinoco drivers and off it goes.

I will have to find all the docs on this machine (it belongs to my employer) but
we got it about a year ago.

I also have some Sinao cards that appear to work quite well with Linux, these
cards are 200Mw cards so they have good range if used with a Senao access
point (also 200Mw) If they are used with the run of the mill access
points the card
will outalk the access point by many many feet.
