To me, it seems that you and Chad got into a tug-of-war. You seemed to be
offended and kept punching his buttons when you could have said your piece
and let it go. Chad could have done the same. But it does seem to me that
Chad made an effort to stop and you kept trying to have the last word.
Please trust me when I say that this comes across as 'bullying'.

I don't believe you meant to, but that's how it appears. It was certainly
NOT 100% technical. I suggest that all of us stop with this thread. I
value your technical insights, but this thread reflects badly on the
participants.

Do _not_ ass-u-me I have not. ;->

I could have easily stooped to the same language and "Your distro X does
this/that" crap that Chad did. I did _not_. I didn't even focus on his
language, that would only be argumenative.

Give me some credit on that. I really, really, _really_ tried to stay 100%
technical. And that included sticking to the fact that Chad wants to assume
what Fedora does. That was the problem.

Beware of advocates who justify their preference not in terms of what they
like about their "choice," but what they did not like about another option.
Such advocacy is more hurtful than helpful.
