I just dismiss those.
It's when someone who hasn't used before, but states incorrect assumptions about it is when "we have a problem." :->

9 times out of 10, it's a former Red Hat Linux user - pre-UP2DATE (let alone pre-Fedora).
As I've said before, those who state their distro presence in terms of hate for another only do everyone a disservice.

You won't _ever_ see me question someone's preference for a distro on its own merits.
Especially when they break it down by technologies.
If I want brand-name marketing, I'll go back to Commerceware (closed source, closed standard) and Hostageware (unmaintainable source, unmaintainable standard).

Linux without brand name marketing is bliss.
Because when then get to focus on technology again.
And _many_ distros overlap on their _actualy_ technology implementations.
Because it's all about sharing the same Freedomware (open source, open standard).
