Nice save.

A popular one is meaning to type "rm foo*" and actually typing "rm foo *".
The message "foo: File not found" lets you know what you've done. Bonus
points if you're in some important directory.

For extra fun, create a file named "*" on someone else's account.

I used to leave a script in ~ on the school Solaris boxes called "sl"
which listed all the files in the caller's ~ as if it were deleting them
(but didn't acttually do anything). In those machine's
/etc/profile-supplied $PATH, "." was listed (last, but still). Bad admin,
no cookie.
