I like messing with timing circuits and the likes. But that's really too
clumsy as all you really need to do is to set the delay in Lilo or Grub. A
much simpler solution and fully implementable as is.

Great idea Logan!

My next solution would probably have been to send out the Wake On LAN, which
requires a lot more work than your solution.
