I recently gave Mike Hast a Via C3 800 and he may be able to give his
impressions on it in regards to how well it runs Linux. Previously I
had used it in an old Shuttle SV25 and the speed was comparable to a
1Ghz Celeron(model before the Tualatin). However compared to a Slot 7
Athlon 800 which I still run it was noticably slower.
