Hi Levi,
Thanks for replying. Yes, I also have burnt images to 4.37GB or whatever the
actual limit is.

Well, I tried what you said and here is what I got.
----------------------------------------------------------------
bob@EasyStreet:/datastorage> growisofs -Z /dev/dvdrecorder -dvd-video dvdfs/
Executing 'mkisofs -dvd-video dvdfs/ | builtin_dd of=/dev/dvdrecorder obs=32k
seek=0'
INFO: UTF-8 character encoding detected by locale settings.
Assuming UTF-8 encoded filenames on source filesystem,
        use -input-charset to override.
mkisofs: Value too large for defined data type. File dvdfs/VIDEO_TS/output.vob
is too large
:-( write failed: Input/output error
bob@EasyStreet:/datastorage>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried an "-overburn" also. Same result. Usually an overburn will work, no?
Even if it cuts off the end of the image, no?
I also checked the properties of the file. It said"Size 4.2GB
(4,542,660,724B)" Maybe that is the problem?

Thanks for trying to help make this work. Appreciated.
