   I got my wife Vonage. The hardware is rented as part of the fee. Lightning
screwed it up last month, they replaced it FREE.

   If you buy it you replace it. (no FREE)

   Same for my cable modem. Two years ago the wall wart (power supply) went bad
and they replaced modem (they upgraded to the latest model FREE) and supply.
I would not do business otherwise unless something very compelling was offered.

   If I change service providers, I send this one back and I get a different one.
I do not have your problem to start with.
