At this point I would unplug the connectors and wipe them clean.and
re-connect...fingers or a damp paper towel. you might 'turn' (spin) the
connectors. sounds stupid, but I've had it work. oxidation can turn up
anytime. imho, al

he relevant modules are loaded, since (IIRC) the mixer won't operate

What am I missing?
