Actually, I use a fork of dwm, but the number of differences from
mainline dwm is quite small thus far.

dwm is similar to ion, except a with more automatic window management
(e.g. I never have to worry about positioning windows (except in
floating mode...)).

Eventually I'll switch to xmonad (http://xmonad.org), a dwm clone written in haskell (with a
code-size-limit of ~800 lines).
