I used a DS18s20 OneWire (tm) device before (with the 3-pin package
soldered directly onto an RJ-11 cable coming out of a DB-9 connector).
It worked (under Linux) exactly as it was supposed to. I didn't try it
with more than one temperature sensor in a chain, but I would expect
that to work too.
