I agree that physical space is important. My problem is always getting enough
equipment into an effective space for maximum utilization (of both). I love
putting resources to use. (The first time I moved the computer out of my
bedroom was enough of a relief that I've never put it back again.)

I would do virtualization (besides the fun of it) if it makes things easier or
makes me more able to do my job. I run on several computers each which does
it's own thing, Sometimes you do something which would interrupt what you are
doing on another computer so having a second, or third machine makes things
work a lot easier.

All that computing on one computer is not doable and it requires a certain
amount of space. Right now I have an office room which is 15x15' and I'm
going to have to put in a new rack to be able to do any more.
