Greetings all !

 Yes.. I am still alive..

I am actually somewhat intrigued by this thread. I
and a few of my fellow SLUGgers. have been intrigued
with TINY systems. what about size and speed ?

One of the beautiful things about looking at
ourselves is that we can see what it "could be".
That is where the challenge is.

*CHEERING* Eben ..

How about SMALLER software and SMALLER demands in
our hardware, code that is simplified and compacted
and logical. There are so many areas to explore..

Someone in the group mentioned some time ago that
the "fad" of linux is on the downslide because its
more common no one needed to come to the slug-a -thons
anymore.

OK so maybe not the entire populous. But how about
special interests.. projects.. coding,
There is plenty in Linux to make life interesting.

I never ceased to be amazed. Even though I have
not attended a meeting in quite some time, I love
Linux and all the cool nuances of what *I* could do
with it ! THAT is fascinating..

Of course that is also just my 2 cents :)

Peace !

Mark
