OK, Let's follow that reasoning. An original message is posted. Someone (or
several) respond, all top-posting. The next day they answer or add new
thoughts, all top-posting. This continues for a few days.

Now someone wants to read it. They must scroll down to the bottom of the
message to read the OP's info that started this thread. it is fairly long so
the reader scrolls to the top of the message and reads down. Then he wants to
see a response. He scrolls up past the original message to the begining of
the response and reads down to the original message. Now he wants to see a
response from the OP or other comments. So he scrolls up to the begining of
the third message and reads down again. And over and over again. Does this
make sense?
