Thanks,

I have been using Mepis for a while now. I am presently using 6.0 and
figured that it was about time to upgrade. I do still get updates but
the occasional ones I get are for Ubuntu Dapper Drake since 6.0 was
based on that distro. Nothing is coming from Mepis anymore. I was
just wandering since I noticed that on Distrowatch that Mepis had fell
way down the list and the adds to sell distros that showed up on the
sidebars of Distrowatch had dropped Mepis from their list. I was
waiting for another release but started getting worried that there might
not be another. I am not trying to sway anyone else but for me this
distro has worked out really well. Everything just works on my
hardware. I have tried out all of the other major distros over the
years and for me Mepis just seemed to work out better.
