Thanks for replying Paul,

I looked at that URL and didn't help much. But I think I figured it out.
When you click on the link it opens one of the media players. VLC in this
case.

But there is no sound. Now this wasn't the only problem. I also did not get
sound trying to open a .wmv file etc. so I finally opened kmix and started to
play with the settings. Seems as though if both the left and right channels
were equal there was no sound, but if I moved either to the left or right
channel I would get it. (mono of course) Sooo, now I get something. Will
figure out later why equal output from channels nulls the sound. Anyway, for
now, I am happy because I can hear something.
