I have a monitor that clips on top of an Xbox and takes composite in. Here
it is:

That shows it folded up. An identically-staped dummy part is behind the
part with the screen. The dummy part stays horizontal while the screeny
part rises up and turns to where you can see the screen. But that's not
important right now.
I dropped it and the screen stopped working. It makes sound, so at least
some of the guts are OK. I think only the fluorescent backlight is dead,
and I suspect that's a regular tube, like what you'd find in a camping
lantern. Has anyone had one of these (or similar) apart?
Also, is there any simple way to convert VGA to composite? Or, are there
any fanless computers with composite out?
