Hi Paul,

It is the last version, 8.10 I think. The "new" Ubuntu box has 9.04.

I was messing with that, didn't get anything out of it.

PCI. Changing slots is a good idea, have to try that.

There is a pair of wires, actually three, that come from the CD drive.
The plug on the Audigy marked CD doesn't fit the plug on the three wires.
