I don't know specifically why he couldn't deal with the name "dropbear",
but "Drop Bear" is an in-joke among Australians, who use it to prank
non-Australians who visit. They will claim that there's a ferocious
creature who lives in trees in Australia, which waits for unsuspecting
people to walk underneath, and pounces on them. It's all made up, but a
great source of humor among Australians, who delight in watching
visitors cautiously scan the trees for the fictional creatures.
