i had suse on this same machine at one time and it was completely
stable. maybe its not the distros, maybe some of u have strange
computers. some of u are a little geeky arent u :)

u wont get a distro war out of me just look at the numbers, mandrake
was numero uno even before version 8.

no but i install the nviidia drivers the other day and they both
installed. i didnt realize that i had to do something else to make
them work. i'll work on it again.i

no, default is ext 2. i have tried reiser and liked it. i am now using
ext 2 again. i have installed mandrake over 10 times as a kind of a test
and have had only one shaky installation.
