what i am finding is first of all most people dont set their bios
properly for linux to work and secondly i am hearing that some
people are having problems with mandrake. why arent i having
any. im trying to figure this out and so far i cant really

i know this will probably sound crazy, but reinstall your linux and clean
your drive up completely
i just had my first failure with mandrake earlier tonight. i was using
ext 2 to bott with reiserfts for everything else. i got a glich and computer
locked up. i couldnt get out so i pull thr plug (not literally). the compulter
rebotted very quickly, when rebooted my machine was very shaky
in root very stable . strange. and also my konquerer wouldnt start.
i tried to leave the drive alone and reinstall and couldnt till i cleaned
the drive completely and then reinstalled. i was down for about 45
minutes because i doing other things while i was waiting on the computer.
