I just got KDE 2.2 up on my Mandrake distro and the new features are
really cool. It took a bit of playing to get it all installed
properly so if anyone is going to try it in stalled on Mandrake 8.0 I
would suggest you go to http://www.mandrakeforum.org and do some
reading about the possible problems you might encounter.
BTW I installed the KDE 2.2 Mandrake i686 rpms with the speed
optimized objprelink code build by Texstar over at
http://www.pclinuxonline.com and they do load and run much faster for
me. Oh and it seems Kmail is faster too.
