Corel has had word perfect versions for Unix and Linux for over 4 years.
The newiest version was Corel Word Perfect 2000 and Deluxe version which
came with Paradox.
These worked well under Stormix and Corel's own Distro though for some
reason it worked better under Stormix.

I still run it on a old Linux box of mine and works quiet well and have had
no problems with it being compatiable up to MS office 2000.

As for the version 6 which has been for download for ages it is way behind
the times like almost 4 years !!!!

The only other office that has come close is Open Office. Star Office 5.2
only works decent for .rtf which is not a standard format file for MS they
have standardized on .doc for years. You can save to rtf but even in word if
you did not originally create it from start being a .rtf it losses alot of
the justifications and fonts usually blow to pieces.

Also .rtf in Word tends not to work well with .jpg and .gif images in the
Document.
