I agreed with everything but mapping by IP. Where did you get that from?
Mapping by IP works on all versions of windows with a TCP/IP stack. Heck,
it even works with MS DOS

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for Win95/98/ME.
Mapping by IP only works on NT/2000/XP.
