OK
I have found out (from the company that makes the mobo)
that the mobo is a 423 pin and the processor is a 478 pin.
Why it fits in the slot is beyond me--I mean it just drops
right in --- anyway it seems that there is an adapter that
converts the mobo from a 423 pin to a 478 pin and that is
not included/installed. There are real idiots out there
operating business that have no idea of what is proper and
have no technical knowledge whatsoever. From our discussion
it seems that the mobo cpu combo will work with the adapter
but it is not as efficient and one should just have a diff
mobo.
Thanks to all that replied and offered suggestions. If I
am not able to resolve this with the company that I ordered
it from I guess there will be a 423 mobo for sale on the
sales page

                             Thanks again,
                              A J
