If your CUPS printer is the system default printer, than you should be
able to send print jobs to lp.
Try this:
$ lp < /etc/hosts
If that job goes to your CUPS printer, then all you have to do is
configure Mozilla/Konqueror (or even better, Galeon :) ), to print to
lp.
