They also have one of the largest stables of lawyers and largest patent
portfolios of any company in the world. I'm sure they can find
something THEY have a patent for that SCO has been doing.

Funny thing is, as big as "a billion dollars" is, it's still the same
amount that IBM have invested in Linux technologies in just one year.

IBM is *SERIOUS* about Linux and this lawsuit is a SERIOUS threat to
their Linux business.

This was an amazingly stupid move from SCO. IBM will squash them like a
bug.

Caldera have NEVER been friendly towards Open Source. Ransom Love has
ALWAYS seen Open Source/Linux/Free Software as an asset to be exploited
with contempt, crapping all over the spirit of open/free software while
staying within the letter of the law/license.
