Well, I didn't get a lot of toys from the show because when I wasn't demoing the products I was walking around in CA's Penguin suit. I must have lost 10 pounds in the thing...HOT HOT HOT.
HOWEVER...I'd like to be the first to thank Ming Poon of Xandros for his generous support of SLUG. I asked him if I could have a copy for our raffle...he was so excited about that he gave me 300 copies of Xandros 1.0 for SLUG, and will send up 1.1 when they get back to Canada, and once 2.0 is out...we get that to.
Bill Preece or Gnorb...you're near Brandon. If I could meet you Monday or Tuesday (I'm near Sabal Park) I'll give it to you and maybe you can take it to the Wednesday meeting for SLUG. I will not be able to attend until teh September meeting, but want to get this to you guys.
I hope you guys will enjoy these...300 CD's is hard to pack in my little suitcase!
Dave

I'll bet there is some cool stuff being given away, that would make for some
interesting SLUG raffles. How much extra baggage allowance you got David?
