I love the Xandros Distro. I have updated my Crossover to 2.01 and also
updated to Win4Lin5.
I have had no issues with anything. It is very responsive and seems to be
very stable.
How ever after I updated I decided to try to load the Lotus Smart Suite. I
finally got it to Load.
The only thing is only the Word Pro works. The Lotus 123 loads then in a few
seconds it closes.
And Approach Database and the Organizer launch but act flaky.

How ever MsOffice 2k works fine, and so does Adobe Photo Shop!

I hope this is fixed soon. As I think the Lotus Smart Suite is much better
then MsOffice. Not to mention
I think IBM should port this. Then that will give them yet another solution
they can offer for Linux.

My next attempt though will be to upgrade to Kde 3.0 on my Xandros install.
I was registering for the Beta Testing for it when the POWER outage hit
Canada.
I would like to try 1.1 Xandros and can't wait to test the 2.0 out.

The only thing I am upset about is I can not find my Corel WordPerfect 2000
Deluxe For Linux Cd.
I was Going to load that back and my Corel Draw For Linux as well.

Btw Pace if you can give me the update instructions that you did for the
updates like you are running I would appreciate it.

I read that also for Lindows Win4Lin5 works fine with it maybe that will be
my next project soon. Also to see if I can get Crossover to load on it as
well.

I will say this though Xandros I think Rocks how ever I have always seem to
come back to using a Debian based Distro
Corel, Stormix, Progeny, Libranet, Lindows 3 <---Did not like that one
Xandros 1.0

P.s. Will the guy who created the Knoppix disk for S.L.U.G. please e-mail me
thanks.
