Exactly.
Not to mention, Novell can cease supporting active development on a
proprietary operating system of their own, and instead leverage all the
work already put into Linux. It also opens up an entire world of
possibilities for 3rd party software (apps and hardware drivers), which
previously had to be written specifically for NetWare (which is quite
unlike any UNIX variant internally).
